My Thoughts:
“I can give you that, Nila. I can give you a long life free from me.”
This is probably going to be the hardest review for me to write because I don’t want to spoil for anyone but there is so much I want to say! (Feel free to send me a message if you have read it and want to talk about it!)
What I appreciate most about this series and that we see growth in Nila and Jethro as well as their relationship so it kept the reader engaged in the story as it built throughout the series. We also see the relationship grow between Nila and Kres and I started to wonder if Ms. Winters was going down another path, that I don’t want her to go down (Jethro and Nila belong together!).
For me this was hands down the best book of the series as it answered so many questions, but then rose so many more!!! This book ends in one of the biggest cliffhangers in the series and I am anxiously awaiting the final book in the series.
If you are looking for a Romeo and Juliet story with a dark twist – than this book is for you.
