My Thoughts:

The Phoenix Campaign is the second book in the Grace Colton Series. After reading The Phoenix Candidate, I honestly was on the fence about the series, but The Phoenix Campaign made me want to cast my vote for Jared and Grace.
When I started the series I was ready for the sex, scandal, and political warfare and now I see that The Phoenix Candidate was just setting me up for all that in The Phoenix Campaign. I was hooked from the first chapter and read the book in almost one sitting. The Phoenix Campaign delivered all that has been missing from Scandal since the early seasons and what I have been craving with a good political romance. Thank you Ms. Tretheway.
In the second book Jared continues with his Jekyll and Hyde demeanor, which annoyed me but played well into his character. However, I got the breakthrough I was looking for so it is worth putting up with how Jared acted towards Grace. We still spend a lot of time in Grace’s head and while I love she is strong, smart woman who thinks for herself - I wish there was more dialogue or maybe spend some time in Jared’s head.
While The Phoenix Campaign did not end on a cliffhanger – I can’t wait to see how the series ends with The Phoenix Decision.
If you are a fan of Scandal (the early seasons) – then this book is for you.
