             Synopsis:
Blake Landon is a man who has everything—wealth, good looks, and the love of Erica Hathaway. The power couple has been through hell and back, and when life has torn them apart, somehow they have always found their way back to each other, more in love and stronger than ever.

Erica has never been more ready to say I do. On the verge of making the ultimate commitment, she uncovers an unsettling chapter of Blake’s history. As she makes peace with her own past and the family who left her behind, she presses Blake to tear down the last walls between them. Determined to know the man he once was, she opens a door to a world beyond her wildest imagination—a world that has her questioning the limits of her own desires.

My Thoughts:
“Erica…I love you…all of you. Even your scars.”
This is the fourth book in the Hacker series, and quite honestly I struggled with it.  For those that are not familiar with the series it is your typical billionaire/recent college graduate love story, but with a twist.  Blake is a reformed hacker and Erica runs an internet-based start up company funded by him (of course).

Let me first start by saying I loved the first two books and rated them both 5 stars because of it being set in the tech world and the heroine, Erica, is a strong independent woman and CEO of her own company.  Book 3 was where I started questioning the direction the storyline was going and by book 4 there were parts in the storyline where I was left confused.  I found myself re-reading several parts because I felt I missed something (I didn’t).  The biggest confusion I felt was how Blake always talks about wanting control but also says he wants to forget his past (can’t have it both ways buddy).  While I did rate this book 3 stars, I will be completing the series because I want to see how the story ends for Blake and Erica. I enjoy Meredith Wild’s writing style and the characters she has built in this story.
