About Me

I was taught at a young age to never leave home without a book to read and since I am a girl that is always on the go, I never leave home without my trusty Kindle (or my phone with the Kindle app.)  I discovered my love for reading at a young age and quickly became a biblophile and have read everything from classics to modern day romances.  The advent of the Kindle fueled my passion for books when I discovered all the amazing mainstream and independent authors that are out there.  I am a hopeless romantic that looks for a happily ever after, but also enjoy a dark and twisty story.

When I am not reading and reviewing books I am full time project manager and part time triathlete.   I live in the Chicagoland area with my husband, cat and two dogs.  Life for me is always an adventure so I turn to books to keep me grounded and sane.

My reviews are just like the book recommendations I give to my friends – honest with a little bit of sass.  I look forward to finding the next book to recommend to my friends and helping you find your next favorite romance novel.

I love to talk about books so please feel free to reach out me on this blog or the various social media sites.
“A great book should leave you with many experiences, and slightly exhausted at the end. You live several lives while reading.”
