             Synopsis:
Notorious Nora Sutherlin is famous for her delicious works of erotica, each one more popular with readers than the last. But her latest manuscript is different—more serious, more personal—and she's sure it'll be her breakout book... if it ever sees the light of day.

Zachary Easton holds Nora's fate in his well-manicured hands. The demanding British editor agrees to handle the book on one condition: he wants complete control. Nora must rewrite the entire novel to his exacting standards—in six weeks—or it's no deal.

Nora's grueling writing sessions with Zach are draining... and shockingly arousing. And a dangerous former lover has her wondering which is more torturous—staying away from him... or returning to his bed?

Nora thought she knew everything about being pushed to your limits. But in a world where passion is pain, nothing is ever that simple.

My Thoughts:

“A Bible-quoting erotica writer--you are quite the oxymoron.”

This story has stirred so many emotions and I don't think my review can truly share how amazing this story is.  The Siren was a hidden gem on my Kindle, and I am kicking myself for waiting this long to read it.  This book is a refreshing change from other romance books I have been reading because it is a complex story with many layers, yet it is also a love story.   Every twist and turn in this story had me gasping in surprise, and kept me engaged and guessing until the end.  It has been a long time since a story has done that for me – Thank you Ms. Reisz.

For this series, I decided to listen to it on audiobook and I believe it has added so much more to the story.  This is definitely one of those stories where you get so much more from the audiobook versus the traditional print book.  It is a story that needs to be told, not read.  Aeron James did a wonderful job with the narration and bringing to life Nora, Soren, Zach, Kingsley, and Wesley.  His tone, inflections, and accents helped be visualize in my mind each character.

There are some heavy BDSM elements to this story, but don’t let that turn you away because there is so much more to this story.

If you are looking for a complex love story that will keep you guessing until the end – this book is for you.
