             Synopsis:
In Beautiful Stranger , finance whiz Sara Dillon met the irresistibly sexy Brit, Max Stella, at a New York City club. Through the series we’ve watched them learn to balance commitment with their less than private brand of playfulness. In Beautiful Beloved, Max and Sara take it to the next step. But the question is: Will they be able to find a balance between the wild sexcapades they aren’t ready to retire, and the demands of parenthood that come along with their new Beautiful bundle of joy? Parenthood: it’s not for the weak of heart.

My Thoughts:

“I’d been so focused on enjoying Sarah the mother, that I’d barely let myself enjoy Sarah, the woman.”

I was so excited when the writing duo of Christina Lauren gave us a follow up novella for Max and Sara.  When I learned about Sara being pregnant in Beautiful Player, I wanted to know what Max and Sara would be like as parents and what their happily ever after was like.

What I loved about this book is that it addressed a major issue that all new parents have – how to be the couple they were before they became parents.  I appreciated how Christina Lauren made it not an easy road for Max and Sarah, as some of their date nights were disastrous, which happens in real life.  (I may never look at Italian food the same way again!)

In Beautiful Beloved, we also get an introduction to Niall, and gave us a teaser of what Beautiful Secret is going to be like.  Needless to say, it has made me more excited for Niall’s story. (April 14th cannot come soon enough!!!)

If you are a Christina Lauren fan and want to read what happen as Max and Sarah as parents – this book is for you.
