Top Ten Tuesday: Ten Characters Who Are Fellow Book Nerds

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish

  1. Caitlyn from the Elements of Chemistry Series by Penny Reid -  Sure sign of a book nerd - reading a book in the laundry room instead of mingling at the party she is at.
  2. Emma from Playing Knotty by Elia Winters  - Emma is a bookstore owner that rents her back room out to Ian for workshops - little did she know it was a bondage workshop.
  3. Serena from The Men with Golden Cuffs by Lexi Blake - Serena is an erotic romance writer that hires a security firm to protect her.  What I love about her character is we see her in other books in the series and she is always interviewing people for her next book.
  4. Larson and Troy from  Black Balled by Andrea Smith - Find out what happens when an author does not like the review a review gives; sparks fly between these two men.
  5. Zoe from Perfection by R.L. Mathewson - I love Zoe because she almost cried when Trevor give her a Kindle.  (I know I would almost cry too if I did not have a Kindle and my husband gave me one.)
  6. Dana from A Humble Heart by R.L. Mathewson - I loved this story because it is about a woman who writes and book and it becomes a movie and the whirlwind she is thrown into.
  7. Gretchen from Beauty and the Billionaire by Jessica Clare - This is one of my favorite retelling of Beauty and the Best and I love that Jessica is a ghost writer for cheesy SiFi books.  Imagine what happens when a reclusive man hires her to write a story about his home....
  8. Nora from The Siren by Tiffany Reisz - Of course Nora and Zach are this list.  This is one of my favorite stories set in the literary world just for the exchanges between Nora and Zach as he edits her story.   Best quote from the book "Nora— Forgive me for copyediting, but it must be said—you have raped the semicolon yet again. Stop it. It wasn’t asking for it no matter how it was dressed."
  9. Alexa from The Marriage Bargain by Jennifer Probst - Imagine what a book store owner will do to save her parents house.
  10. Julia from Gabriel's Inferno by Sylvain Reynard - She is a student studying to be a Dante Specialist; he is her professor.  Imagine what the relationship is like between these two Dante enthusiasts.

What are some characters who are fellow book nerds that are on your list?

  1. I haven't heard of any of these books, but that's not surprising as I don't read a lot of romance. It's always fun to find a bookworm between the pages, no matter what kind of book you're reading.

    Happy TTT!
